As much as I love the aesthetic of backbends, our physical’s contraction (rigidity) whispers a deeper tale. Our body acts a conduit of unexpressed emotions. The way we breathe tells a lot (esp. in backbends), when we learn to gaze upon the unseen weights we carry, we learn what part of us that we are protecting and resisting ☺️ .

*Sadhana îs opțional, however past students have found this practice extremely beneficial. (Sadhana: 15-min to 30-min per day)

I am here as a vessel, a megaphone to bridge the science and spiritual world. We will combine the 8-limb of yoga practice with neuroscience tools to shift our energetic vibration, mindset, and the way we present ourselves in this world.

So what’s stored in your hip? what’s making them strong? what’s making them stiff?

3-hour Myofascial Hip Mobility Workshop
Lecture: 40-min
Flow+Drills+Play for the rest. 🤸🏽 (140-min)
We'll be learning efficient ways to release tension / stiffness around the hip flexors, strengthen the glutes (when are we not 😂), strengthen + expand the diaphragm, and play around with some funky splits poses (including some inversion).
Myofascial Deep Front Line (DFL) is infused with denser fascia, slow-twitch, endurance type of muscle fibres, which reflects the role the DFL plays in providing stability.
There’s a stretch (tensile line) that goes from your foot all the way to your tongue!

If your DFL is tight, common compensation pattern include chronic plantarflexion, high and fallen arch patterns, pronation and supination, anterior pelvic tilt 🦆, weak pelvic floor, breathing restriction, TMJ syndrome (grinding teeth)
